Marsh blueberry (Vaccinium uliginosum L.) is a plant with branched stems reaching from 0.3 to 1.2 m in height. Its twigs are round and slightly hairy when young. The leaves are entire, curled, gray underneath and grey-green above. Fruits with white flesh, dark blue, covered with bloom. It is also known as drunkenness. It grows in humid coniferous forests, raised peat bogs, and on acidic and moist soils.
